Al-Baha region is one of the most beautiful Saudi Arabia’s provinces, located in the Southwestern part of the Kingdom. Its geographical location has made it an active link between Holy Makkah and Asir areas. It consists of six towns, the most important of which are Baljurashy, Almandaq, and Almekhwah, in addition to the Baha city, the center of the province. The province comprises 31 administrative centers and has a population of 533,001.
Al-Baha is one of the fastest growing agricultural region of the kingdom and one of the most densely populated provinces. It is surrounded by the rugged and Majestic Asir range of mountains at elevation of 3000 meters above the sea level. The hills with green fields scattering all over Al-Baha have different kinds of plant life, and so each mountain is unique.
Al-Baha is developing into a major tourist resort located at a distance of nearly 220 km from Makkah and 350 km. from Abha. It served by a modern airport and a network of excellent highways. Al-Baha is engulfed by breath-taking scenery and offers a salubrious climate throughout the year. The marble village (Zee Ain) is one of the main touristic places and can be considered a landmark for the region
A lot of natural scenes you can enjoy in Al-Baha including animal natural life, winter snow, water falls, and variety of forests. Also, you can enjoy the trip using Telpherage (Cable Car) in Al-Kom3 region. If you miss the sea, you can enjoy the red sea in Knofoda beach that is 1 hour by the car from Al-Baha.
Al-Baha National Airport receives flights from all cities of the Kingdom and is located in Aqiq province 45km from Al-Baha city itself.
