Mobily Jeddah Marathon 2012
Over 8,400 men took part in the marathon, organized by Al-Birr Society, Tuesday. About 70 disabled persons on wheelchairs also took part in the ‘Mazda lane’ for the physically challenged.
About 4,280 boys below 18 ran the 6-km ‘Nessma track’. And a total of 4,062 participants took part in the 21-km ‘Mobily lane’ for general public and professional runners.
The participants included runners from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, Ethiopia, Kenya, France and the USA. ( Source )
